Do you have to be African-American to join the NAACP?
No. In 1909, the NAACP was formed by a multiracial group of people. We welcome all races, cultures, and ethnicities who share the mission, objectives, and the vision of the NAACP.
Where are you located and when do you meet?
Our address is P.O. Bo 2363, Falls Church, VA. We meet in Alexandria, VA, at Bethlehem Baptist, 7836 Fordson Rd., Alexandria, VA. Our general membership meeting is the second Tuesday of every month.
How can I switch my membership to the Fairfax County Branch?
You must write a letter to the National Office asking that they transfer your membership to the Fairfax County Branch, Unit 7066.

The Fairfax County Branch president is Olivia S. Jones-Smith.
How do I join the Branch?
You can join the Branch for as low as $30/yr (adult) and/or for $10/yr (youth 10-20). You can join online. Or you can mail us your membership form with a check or money order.
Is my membership current?
Your membership expires one year after joining the NAACP. You can find your expiration date on the front of your membership card. For more information, email us with your name and address and we'll be happy to check your membership status.
