The Budget Committee aims to reduce inequities in under-resourced communities by advocating for increased government funding for overlooked initiatives and programs. The committee shall:

• Establish collaborative relationships with the government to ensure fair and just allocation of resources for programs impacting the minority community.
• Hold government officials accountable for transparent and responsible spending of funds allocated to programs within our community.
• Serve as a proactive force in seeking additional funding to support impactful programs.
• Cultivate partnerships and alliances with community organizations that share common goals.
